The Modernist Chant:  Inch toward Niagra

Niagra Falls inch by inch, step by step.
Remember The Stooges giving us pep?
They were so silly and we were so smart.
Parodies us so well, we'd laugh til we'd fart.

But rivers flow, we get caught in a swirl.
Soft mounds of her breasts, the scent of a girl.
And the boys start inching, they take a leap
Courting for marriage receives not a peep.

Then PP came along and rivers raged.
The art of a courtship suddenly aged.
Politicians, now blinded by NARAL's bucks.
Fools that we are. Thanks!  We're acting like schmucks.
"Unredeemed creatures", the secular rant.
"Inch toward Niagra", a modernist chant.
